About

After graduating from Huntington University in 1972, I taught school for 36 years with the last 13 being in juvenile corrections. While in college I completed a triple major and two minors in Secondary Education. I also lettered in basketball and volleyball. Since retiring, I have published the first two “Listen To HIS Heartbeat” devotional books and am currently writing the third, “Listen To HIS Heartbeat #3”. When writing devotions I write analogies with a lot of both humor and scripture which makes my books both entertaining and good teaching tools. I also have a story in two Chicken Soup for the Soul books, “Living with Alzheimer’s & Other Dementias” which was a best seller and “for Mom, with love” which is a collection of stories from their best sellers. I have stories in three anthology books by Hidden Brook Press. In 2005 I finished my Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Bread of Life Bible College.
