Mother of five, grandmother of eight, I have always wanted to be a writer, or to create with words. I’m a graduate of The University of Iowa, where I majored in journalism. I have spent most of my life writing in one form or another, including broadcast advertising, free lancing and media relations for nonprofits. Politically I tend to be passionate for social justice and environmentalism.
