Hello and nice to meet you! My name is Jacob Becker. I am a 32 year-old family man, I am the President of Marketing Mayor LLC, a growing digital advertising agency in Buffalo, NY, and also a business I started in a bedroom. I have a great life now, but it wasn’t without putting myself through some crazy experiences (lengthy drug addiction, getting stomped by a bookie, selling drugs, etc). I’ve decided to tell my story in detail, as embarrassing as it may be, to try and inspire the many people and especially the millennial generation. Many millennials are searching desperately to find themselves. I can’t tell you how often I hear, “I don’t know what I want to do with my life!” from those who fall into the age bracket of 18-35. This predicament seems to have become more common in society than ever before. I want to motivate those who are struggling to figure this out, and also assure them what they are going through is normal. In the process, I want to hopefully teach them about some of the lessons I’ve discovered through my experiences.

I have never written a book, and I am not the type to think I can do this alone. However, I am an extremely motivated person and I can promise you I will give everything I have to this process. I also will do my best to put myself in an opportune position to succeed including from a marketing perspective (I even have over 31,000 twitter followers that can hopefully sell a few copies!). I am looking for help from experienced and talented individuals. I know I am not the best writer to ever pickup a pen, but I am confident with some direction from seasoned professionals, I can accomplish my goals.
