My husband and I live in Midtown Sacramento, a tree-lined area filled with bungalows and Victorians and a sense of history, which pleases a history buff like me.
I retired from teaching a few years ago to write full time. My stories and flash fiction have appeared in numerous literary magazines. My work for children has appeared in Story Friends, Ladybug, and Skipping Stones. My middle grade fantasy novel, The Fourth Wish, is set in downtown Sacramento. My middle grade mystery, Imogene and the Case of the Missing Pearls, featuring Sherlock Holmes, is set in Victorian London. At present I’m working on a cozy mystery for adults and a YA ghost story set in 1919 Sacramento.
