I am a writer of crime, horror and science fiction, building a body of work including novels, novellas, and short fiction.
In 2015, I was long-listed by the British Crime Writers’ Association’s Debut Dagger Award for an international conspiracy thriller titled ‘Five Blind Eyes’. The novel follows journalists who uncover corruption at the high-tech frontier of the global arms industry. Five Blind Eyes is the follow-on from my first novel, which I am currently pitching to the traditional publishing industry, in which journalists uncover a murderous, international, financial crime network born from social upheaval in the Muslim world.
I recently published my first e-book, a short horror story tiled ‘Hugo’s Awakening’ on Amazon Kindle, largely as an experiment to understand the mechanics of indy publishing.
My writing experience is gained in part from working as a journalist in Australia, the UK, the USA and East Asia, and as a political lobbyist, speech-writer, and corporate communications adviser.
