For this week’s #indiechat  (to be held on 11/17/15), we are excited to announce we will be hosting another NaNoWriMo writing sprint!

timewatch for indiechat

Unlike the last writing sprint, which featured writing prompts, this sprint will simply monitor the timed intervals so that you can focus on writing the most important thing: your NaNoWriMo novel!

For those of you unfamiliar with the term, a writing sprint is a challenge in which writers are encouraged to just write for timed intervals throughout an hour. Typically, the writing sprint is announced at :00 (indicating the beginning of the hour), with timed breaks and new sprints beginning at specific intervals. For instance, a sprint may be introduced at :00, the writers have ten minutes to write, and at :10, the writers are told to stop writing. Following the end of the sprint, the writers tweet their word count from the sprint and (optionally) send in quotes from that session.

Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to join us on Tuesday, November 17 at 4 PM EST to join our sprint. We look forward to seeing you there!

#Indiechat is held every Tuesday at 4pm ET. You can check out our previous chat logs on BiblioCrunch Storify.
