My project is a contemporary romance novel that is intended to be the first in a series of historical novels that have strong romantic elements. All the male heroes are military men. The current project is a story of Luke Embers, a former Marine officer, and his struggle to put the past behind him to find love and happiness with the woman of his dreams. Mellie struggles with her own past particularly the death of her Marine sergeant husband in Afghanistan. Novel contains profanity, adult situations, and descriptive sexual content but is not erotica.
